Biostimulators

Biostimulators are advanced injectable treatments designed to restore volume and improve skin quality by activating your body’s own collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume through gel-based formulas, biostimulators work gradually—rebuilding the underlying structural support of the skin for results that look natural, refined, and long-lasting.

Sculptra®, one of the most widely recognized biostimulators, is composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a clinically studied compound that has been used in medicine for decades. Once injected, Sculptra® integrates within the tissue and stimulates fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen over time. This process enhances facial contours, softens lines, and improves overall skin firmness and elasticity.

Biostimulators are ideal for clients seeking subtle, progressive rejuvenation with results that evolve beautifully over several months. The outcome is a refreshed, lifted appearance that maintains facial expression and preserves natural character.

From mid-face volume support to global facial revitalization, biostimulators offer a sophisticated, science-driven approach to aesthetic enhancement—perfect for those who desire long-term results with a clinically elegant touch.

Benefits Of Biostimulators

Stimulates natural collagen production

Restores lost facial volume gradually

Improves skin firmness and texture

Delivers natural-looking, long-lasting results

Enhances overall facial structure and youthfulnessBiostimulators work by stimulating your body to produce its own collagen. During the treatment, small amounts of the product will be injected into targeted areas of the face. The injections are quick, and most people describe the sensation as mild.

Right after the appointment, you may see some temporary fullness from the injection fluid—this fades within a few days. Over the next several weeks, Sculptra gradually encourages new collagen to form, creating natural-looking volume and smoother, firmer skin. For best results, most clients need a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart.

Sculptra & PLLA works gradually, with noticeable improvements starting around 4–6 weeks, and full results developing over 3–6 months as your body builds new collagen.

The end result is subtle, long-lasting rejuvenation that appears gradually and looks completely natural.

Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or oils on the treatment area.

Before the treatment, we start your appointment with a consultation to assess your areas of concern. We look at the symmetry of the face and natural contours. We pick out the areas where natural enhancement is needed.

We will then prepare the area and carry out the injections. We may use a numbing cream if necessary.

Your provider will review your medical history and assess candidacy to help ensure treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

Very little discomfort. The treatment is delivered by a cannula to allow for very specific placement.

Numbing cream (optional)

Minimal recovery time. As with any injectable treatments, there may be a small amount of swelling, redness and/or bruising which will subside within a few days.

Improvements are seen immediately. However, results will continue to improve over weeks to months. A “Glow,” followed by new collagen fibres can be seen in as little as only one week although final results will take 6-10 months to fully appreciate and 6 months is the earliest time to make decisions about future “touch up” treatments. Biostimulators are a longer term commitment but the results are most definitely worth waiting for. Results from Sculptra can last up to 2–3 years, making it one of the longest-lasting collagen-stimulating treatments available.

We only use products that are licensed and have been researched for many years.

Side effects are rare but the general risks can include bruising, tenderness, or swelling. We will explain in detail any possible risks or side effects, before the treatment.

Biostimulators are designed to restore volume and improve skin quality by stimulating collagen in areas that naturally lose support over time. Common treatment areas include:

  • Cheeks / Midface – restores youthful contour and lift

  • Temples – replenishes hollowing and supports upper facial structure

  • Jawline – improves definition and reduces the appearance of sagging

  • Lower Face – softens lines around the mouth and chin

  • Preauricular Area (in front of the ears) – restores subtle volume loss for a smoother facial profile

  • Marionette & Smile Lines – improves deep folds with gradual support

  • Full-Face Rejuvenation – global collagen stimulation for overall firmness and improved texture

  • Décolletage – reduces crepiness and enhances skin quality

  • Body Areas (select cases) – such as buttocks, hips, or arms for improved skin texture and volume (provider-dependent)

They are versatile and best suited for gradual, natural-looking enhancement. Treatment areas are always tailored to individual anatomy, goals, and collagen needs.
